Analysys Mason’s Paul Sumner and Amrish Kacker participated in Informa’s Broadband IP&TV Asia conference, which was held at the KL Convention in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Senior Manager Paul Sumner delivered a presentation at the pre-event focus day.  Paul’s presentation, entitled ‘Understanding the business case for migration to fixed (fibre) and mobile (LTE) next-generation access’ discussed revenue, consumer expectations and usage, migration rates and costs, and understanding the drivers behind migration to next-generation access.

Partner Amrish Kacker chaired the Executive Summit on Tuesday 15 May at 12.00. Amrish also delivered the Executive Summit’s closing presentation, entitled 'Analysis of NBN business models'. During his presentation, Amrish discussed emerging NGN business models in the mass market, industry structure and the growing 'SMART' versus 'LEAN' operator separation, and the role of government in industry structure.
