Glen Ragoonanan, Senior Analyst at Analysys Mason, participated in Informa's Policy Control and Realtime Charging conference, which was held at the Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam.
Glen delivered a presentation entitled, 'Preparing the network for personalisation: exploring the increasing importance of entitlement management as a function of policy control'. In his presentation, Glen:
- examined the practicalities of entitlement management as a function of policy control
- forecasted deployment of different policy control scenarios to enable personalised services
- explored the potential for innovative marketing, loyalty, customer segmentation and promotional strategies of integrating policy with real-time charging, subscriber data management and business intelligence platforms
- examined the potential for monetising services with policy by offering customer personalisation and control.
