Building an IoT business: IoT scorecard highlights

Analysys Mason’s IoT scorecard 2017: communications service providers in emerging Asia–Pacific is a ranking of operators that are active in the Internet of Things (IoT) market in emerging Asia–Pacific (EMAP). We surveyed 13 communications service providers (CSPs) for this scorecard: Celcom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, Indosat, Maxis, Reliance, Smart, Telkomsel, True, Viettel, VNPT and Vodafone. The scorecard ranks each CSP in terms of how it is performing in matters related to IoT. Our rankings are based on our evaluation of questionnaire responses from each CSP, information obtained from interviews and briefings with each CSP, as well as public sources.

This webinar will showcase the scorecard research, key findings and best practices in six key categories:

  • IoT strategy and vision
  • structure and organisation
  • market status and business size
  • network status and technology
  • capabilities and portfolio
  • ecosystem and partnerships.

The webinar will focus on the two participants – China Mobile and Vodafone – that ranked highest in Analysys Mason’s scorecard. Both companies have invested heavily in network technologies and IoT capabilities with dedicated IoT business units to drive growth and have a strong presence in multiple sectors.

Join us for this informative webinar on Wednesday 31 May 2017 at 15:30 SGT. The webinar will include a 35-minute presentation, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.

This webinar will benefit operators seeking to build an IoT business, strategy executives and directors who are managing aspects of CSPs’ IoT service offerings, CSP marketing staff interested in an overview of how IoT operator strategies compare and end users of IoT solutions that are interested in comparing the relative strengths of operators’ offering worldwide, regional and domestic IoT.
