I recently joined Analysys Mason in February 2008, straight out of University. Having finished an MSc in Infonomics (The Economics of the Information Society) at Maastricht University, I was looking for a position to apply my skills in a practical environment. Previous to Analysys Mason, I had no significant work experience.
Finding the right company in today’s job landscape certainly is not an easy task. The company I was looking for had to play a leading role in its sector on an international level but, at the same time, should allow people to work together in a stimulating and cooperative atmosphere.
Analysys Mason immediately made the right impression on me. Next to its impressive track record as one of the premier companies in the telecommunications consultancy industry, all the people I got in contact with were very knowledgeable and, at the same time, approachable.
Working at Analysys Mason absolutely met my expectations. From the first day, I was involved in project work, my comments were taken seriously by my colleagues and I immediately felt integrated into the company. Especially the fact that there are a lot of people from different cultural and educational backgrounds makes for interesting discussions and gives this special “Analysys Mason edge” to many projects!
In the short time I have been here, I was already involved in several projects which significantly broadened my knowledge in the respective sectors. Since most of the projects are dealt with in small teams of 3 to 5 people, you remain in close contact with the other team members and have the opportunity to ask many questions and learn continuously. It is just the perfect way of slowly turning into an expert in the area of telecommunications!
Training is another reason to choose Analysys Mason. Even before joining the company, I was given the chance to participate in preparatory training sessions. In the first months of being at Analysys Mason, I already participated in a large number of additional training sessions.

After a good working day, I enjoy doing a lot of sports to relax. I am an enthusiastic tennis, football and basketball player. Afterwards, I tend to get my energy back from a nice round of cooking. This is the perfect way for me to find my balance and enjoy life. Even in these areas, Analysys Mason provides its employees with a platform to meet.
