I joined Analysys Mason in January 2008 after completing my Master’s degree in Digital Communication network. My strong background in Telecom gained from my degree and  two years experience working as a part time IT business analyst in a commercial environment helped me in choosing Analysys Mason.

I wanted to work for a company that cultivates and promotes values such as respect and integrity, as I feel that these are the building blocks for a successful professional and personal life. Plus, I wanted to work somewhere with a dynamic approach to day-to-day business, excelling in everything it is involved in, a strategic job in a fast and dynamic environment, an environment that will support my career development and a company that has clear vision for growth and established excellence.

My research on Analysys Mason proved to be helpful, I was convinced that the company was the right choice of employer for me, I was moved and this helped me to be confident throughout my recruitment stages.

Since I joined Analysys Mason, the most rewarding part of my job is being able to wake up in the morning excited knowing that I am going to enjoy my job for the day, be continuously challenged at work and learn new things. The staff are very friendly and supportive, from the previous graduate Engineers to the senior members of staff. I have a really supportive line manager who looks after me making sure I get the best out of the graduate programme.

The graduate programme, so far has given me the opportunity to work on a number of short projects in the telecommunication, enterprise and implementation units of the company. I am currently part of the team that will be assisting during the implementation phase carrying out testing on Ambulance Radio systems across England as they are brought onto the Airwave TETRA network. I was part of the team that carried out the investigation of interference in the L-Band frequency in order to deploy T-DAB in UK and I was also involved in the optimisation of RTU communication strategy for a major Electric distribution company.

The rotation policy of the programme ensures that you learn as much as possible while you are an Engineer and that helps in deciding the area of specialisation when you eventually become a consultant.

Training was emphasised as a big part of my early development when I joined Analysys Mason and so far I have received several training courses from the company on using various network planning tools, new concepts in innovative technologies, management skills and professional development. As part of my professional development, I have a portfolio of my achievements and projects involvement which I check with the required status of IET accreditation. I also take French lessons every week organized by the company, something I have always wanted to do before I joined the company.

Above all, Analysys Mason has exceeded my expectation and I am so delighted I have not made the wrong choice.
