Amrish leads Analysys Mason's Operator Strategy Consulting work in the Asia–Pacific region. He has been with Analysys Mason since 2000 and moved to Singapore in 2006 from Analysys Mason's Cambridge office in the UK.
Amrish specialises in supporting board-level investment and strategy decision making in the telecoms sector. He has more than 17 years of telecoms and media experience with operators, regulators and financial institutions across Asia–Pacific, the Middle-East, Europe and Africa.
He works extensively with mobile operators in the region and has been involved in a range of projects covering 4G strategy, Spectrum valuation, Network sharing, Digital services Initiatives and Pricing for Data Profitability. He has recently supported several regional operators in developing their 4G business cases and successfully acquiring spectrum, including IoT. Amrish has also undertaken several due diligence projects focusing on wireless operators and internet services companies, also in the payments space.
He has a diverse background having worked for a large European strategy consulting firm for 3 years as well as having spent more than 5 years in sales and marketing with Unilever. Amrish holds an engineering degree in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
