David has been a Lead Consultant at Analysys Mason, working on major public-sector projects for the last eight years. He has extensive experience of delivering projects involving the interface to the Airwave TETRA system in the UK, and has an in-depth knowledge of the TETRA standard. He has recently been working on the GBP500 million Ambulance Radio Project for the UK Department of Health. David also has experience in the transport sector, and has worked on the iBus project in London. He has spent many years working with private mobile radio (PMR) systems and has hands-on experience of TETRA, APCO Project 25 and MPT 1327, as well as being involved in their standardisation. He is currently co-chair of the TETRA PEI Working Group responsible for interoperability of the TETRA terminal data interface, and has presented papers in the UK and overseas on TETRA and its applications, as well as migrating to Digital Communications.
