Karim Yaici joined Analysys Mason in 2010. His primary areas of expertise include mobile software and handsets, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and Application Enablement. He has provided recommendations to operators, telecom solution vendors and regulatory bodies with regard to market conditions, investment potential, best practices in the industry and strategic responses to competitive threats. He has also carried out a number of operational benchmarking studies and extensively contributed to the market assessment and forecast of multiple verticals in the telecom industry.
Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Karim was an associate analyst at Informa Telecoms & Media, where he authored reports on mobile accessories and mobile applications. Prior to that, he worked as a research engineer in the Centre for Communication Systems Research (CCSR) and Vodafone. Karim holds an MSc in Information Systems Management from the University of Southampton and a PhD in human–computer interaction from the University of Surrey.
