Luca has worked for Analysys Mason on a number of due diligence and business planning assignments across Europe, having carried out benchmarking exercises and business plan reviews for the largest dark fibre provider in Italy, a number of Italian municipalities’ fibre assets, an incumbent fixed operator in Eastern Europe, a mobile operator in Africa and a broadcasting tower company in Eastern Europe on behalf of both operators and management and financial advisory teams. Luca’s other assignments include a cost account re-allocation activity to calibrate the termination rates of a mobile operator in a major Western European market, a valuation model to determine the economic value of several spectrum lots in a mobile licence award project for a mobile operator in a Western European country and a scenario-based model to evaluate the financial impact following the introduction of mobile number portability for a Latin American mobile operator. Luca has a BSc and MSc in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from Royal Institute of Technology and from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.
