Nick Smye is a Manager at Analysys Mason. Nick has over 25 years’ experience in the communications industry, and within the last 15 years has specialised in mobile communications, radio frequency planning and project management. He previously worked in the electricity industry for nearly 10 years, where he gained valuable first-hand experience in the design, development and planning of mobile and fixed radio communications services. Nick now focuses on public sector, delivering major projects for clients including major emergency service organisations, and government departments. He is an active participant in the TETRA MoU and is currently joint chair of the TETRA PEI TIP Working Group. For the last five years, Nick has been seconded to the Directorate for Emergency Communication (dNk) in Norway.
