Raushan Sagalbayeva is a Lead Consultant at Analysys Mason, based in London. She specialises in market analysis, due diligences and business plan development. Raushan worked with major clients across the telecoms industry including regulators, fixed and mobile operators, industry associations and financial institutions. Clients include Etisalat, Expresso Telecom, GSMA, Vodafone, GSMA, Microsoft and others.
Raushan's recent experience includes development strategy and business plan for a telecom group with fixed and mobile assets across West and North Africa; cost modelling for a regulator in East Africa; network sharing project for mobile operators in North Africa; development of the broadband market forecast for India etc. Raushan has also authored numerous Analysys Mason reports analysing current trends and market developments in various Central and Eastern European telecom market.
Before joining Analysys Mason in 2005, she worked for the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Raushan started her telecoms career as a lawyer for a mobile operator in Kazakhstan. As well as a degree in International Law, she holds an MA with distinction in Communications Policy from the University of Westminster.
