The wearables side of enterprise IoT: assessing the opportunity for CSPs

CSPs have an opportunity to sell the underlying technologies and services of digital business transformation – such as M2M, wearables and big data analytics – to enterprises as an aggregated solution rather than in siloes.


For enterprises there is a lot of uncertainty about the opportunities raised by wearable technology. We propose that communications service providers (CSPs) can help enterprises overcome this uncertainty by helping them to understand how wearables can complement other CSP-provisioned solutions – such as M2M – that are propelling digital business transformation.
