Professional services are key to the growth of Orange Business Services’s cloud revenue
Enterprises are looking to benefit from the cost savings and productivity gains associated with cloud services, but their migration path to using such services is often complex and difficult to manage without specialist support. Professional services have therefore become a key enabler for cloud adoption. Some operators are forming partnerships with systems integrators and other IT specialists, but Orange Business Services (OBS) continues to invest in strengthening its own professional services capabilities to meet its ambitious cloud goals. This article discusses the extent to which this strategy is paying off, and highlights some of the challenges ahead.
