Founded in 2006, Centina Systems provides solutions in the network performance monitoring (PM), fault and event management (FM) and service management (SM) segments. Its main customer base in the communications service provider (CSP) space includes cable multi-service operators (MSOs), fixed broadband service providers and mobile CSPs.

Centina Systems has added new capabilities to its base NetOmnia functions for FM and PM in order to address new opportunities, both within its current customer base and for new prospects. It has now ventured into the emerging area of service assurance for network function virtualisation- (NFV-) and software-defined networking- (SDN-) enabled virtual networks through the launch of its vSure solution.
