Webinar – Smartphones and apps: consumer perception versus reality

In this webinar, Principal Analysts Ronan de Renesse and Martin Scott present findings from two separate sets of primary research on smartphone consumer usage trends.

They examine the differences between how consumers think they use mobile apps and how they actually use them, based on data from our Connected Consumer survey as well as data from an on-device monitoring application. Identifying the difference between perception and reality will help stakeholders to understand the relative importance of different smartphone apps and usage behaviour.

In addition, the webinar focuses on:

  • the impact of various smartphone platforms and device manufacturers on mobile content and apps usage
  • how operators can use mobile content and apps to drive an increase in smartphone adoption and mobile data usage on their network.
