Case study: Our client, a major automotive manufacturer, sought support during procurement of a WAN for its franchised dealer network. We helped draft the invitation to tender and identified and characterised suitable candidates to be invited to bid. We assisted in the selection of a supplier through evaluation and analysis of responses to the invitation to tender. The evaluation included comparison of a range of alternative technologies and a detailed cost comparison. The client used our outputs and support to produce a presentation to the board with the client's recommendation as to which supplier and solution to select.
Case study: For our client, who sought to maximise procurement effectiveness in the public sector, we developed estimates for the breakdown of spend on a range of telecoms services by various types of public sector organisation.
Case study: For a development agency in the UK, we managed a project related to a planned open-access network to support services to businesses on 48 business parks. We developed questionnaires for both telephone and face-to-face interviews with users and stakeholders that helped the client with its internal approvals process, with its procurement (design and evaluation methodology) and with its future monitoring of the project following launch.
