Carbon Reduction Commitment

The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) is a new, mandatory, carbon trading scheme administered by the Environment Agency.

It aims to focus organisations on monitoring and reducing their energy consumption, and forms part of the UK Government’s commitment to reach its 2020 and 2050 emissions targets. From April 2010, your organisation will need to start monitoring and reducing its carbon emissions, but you need to take action now in order to ensure compliance, avoid fines and maximise the financial benefits.
