The use of remote SIM provisioning (RSP) platforms is increasing as both operators and device manufacturers start to support embedded SIMs (eSIMs). The eSIM RSP platform market is dominated by a few players, namely Gemalto, Giesecke & Devrient and Idemia. However, new and existing players are acquiring providers of eSIMs and remote provisioning platforms in order to enter and disrupt the IoT connectivity market.
