Bjørnar is a Partner at Analysys Mason, based in Oslo. He has 30 years of telecoms experience and is one of the company's most senior regulatory experts. Bjørnar has in-depth knowledge of, and strategic insight into, regulatory frameworks, value chains, business models, market and technology trends in the broadband and mobile telecoms markets.
Bjørnar started his career as a management consultant in the telecoms media and technology sector in 2000. Prior to this, he worked as market analyst at Telenor, business development manager at Telia Norway and Enitel and senior consultant at the Norwegian Competition Authority.
His areas of expertise include regulatory and policy analysis; sector-specific competition regulation; strategy processes and business development; value chain analysis, market scenarios and business plans; negotiation of network access and partner agreements.
Bjørnar holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics, including one year at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Before this, Bjørnar studied law at the University of Oslo for a year.
