Ningbo Zhoushan port authority: 5G engagements with Huawei and mobile network operators

A large amount of the world's trade flows through sea ports, and port authorities (PAs) must ensure that operations are smooth and efficient because they move millions of containers on and off cargo freights every year. Mobile network operators (MNOs), together with their vendor partners (such as Huawei), have an opportunity to engage with PAs and develop 5G and multi-access edge computing (MEC) propositions to not only automate ports’ operations and reduce costs, but also to augment their own revenue.
