Are you afraid that the workload of a Consultant is too high for you?
Our mission statement attributes our company’s success entirely to our team. Therefore, it is our responsibility not to burn out our Consultants with overbearing workloads. Of course, workloads flux with different phases of the project, meaning some phases are more intense, especially when deadlines are approaching. In such cases, we do expect our Consultants to walk the extra mile in order to achieve the best possible results for our costumers. However, during those calmer project phases, we emphasize that our team members rest and enjoy the steadier workload.
We do not have fixed office days in Bonn, Germany. Thus, you can choose your place of residence within Europe. Although, it is certainly helpful to choose a location from which you are well connected to public transport to ease the weekly commute to the client. If the client allows, we try to make home-office possible and cover parts of your home DSL bills.
We avoid disturbing our team members on their well-deserved vacations. We do not expect 24/7 availability of anybody. This way, we allow you hopefully to recharge. It is of course also possible to take an extended time off work, e.g. for sabbatical or parental leave. Additionally, we try our best to make part-time work, if temporarily needed, possible.
Our onboarding philosophy is best summarized as „training on the job”. We believe that this learning style enables the steepest learning curve. From the first day onwards, it is important that you take on responsibility which will grow naturally over time. As such, our learning philosophy enables new joiners to show initiative and drive their own development. Of course, we provide you with the necessary tools and grant all the support needed. We care for the personal and professional development of all our team members. During a typical day at work, I support our client by developing and operating a large data base. However, coming to AM as a business student, coding was completely new for me. To assist your development, we count on a close mentoring relationship. An experienced team member will always support you and your goals. Together, you plan short-, medium- and long-term development steps and reflect on your current situation with a given project. Individual development paths are important to us. Therefore, we allow you to choose the trainings that you want to take to achieve your own career goals.
