As communications service providers (CSPs) begin their digital transformation journeys, they face the dilemma of legacy BSS that impede their ability to respond agilely to customer needs and business requirements. Many CSPs also lack the expertise to evolve their IT systems to more agile architecture and processes such as those built on microservices and CI/CD tool chains and which embrace open-source technologies and tools. Tech Mahindra has developed the BlueMarble platform as a ‘digital transformation accelerator’ to enable CSPs to improve customer experience (CE) by overlaying old BSS functions.
