Oliver is a Partner in our Munich office. He has more than 25 years of experience in strategy and management consulting for private-equity and corporate customers, focusing on business development and growth projects as well as strategic due diligence (>350 project assignments) and value creation.
Oliver focuses on the industrial technology and technology-enabled business services sectors; his key industrial technology subsectors are advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. additive manufacturing, laser technology), automation (including machine vision) and digital manufacturing (including networking, data usage as well as transparency and efficiency). He supports his customers along the entire investment lifecycle from identifying market segments and target companies attractive for investments to commercial due diligence and development of the business over the holding period to supporting a successful exit.
Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Oliver worked as independent strategy and M&A advisor in the ‘vision technologies’ market, was Managing Director in Kroll’s international Strategy and Commercial Due Diligence Team, Partner at EY-Parthenon (Strategy and CDD) for about 8 years and worked at AMR International, as Director and Head of Global Industrial Products Practice. He started his consulting career at Accenture where he worked in the Strategy & Business Architecture and Change Management Practices focusing on communications and technology.
Oliver received an MBA degree from the Bradford Centre of Management and graduated from Helmut Schmidt University, Hamburg, in Economics.
Outside work, Oliver is interested in economics and day-to-day politics. He enjoys reading about serious subjects – ranging from AI innovation to leadership – as well as some good fiction to refresh the mind. He is a keen runner and swimmer, and an enthusiastic member of his tennis team.
