3GPP’s Release 18 standards have been frozen since June 2024, and numerous telecoms operators have since launched 5G Advanced services. Some of these operators have provided clear information on new technologies and use cases, while others have launched services without demonstrating the value or opportunities that 5G Advanced brings.
