KubeCon 2025: open-source tools that support the operationalisation of AI are evolving rapidly
Analysys Mason attended the Cloud Native Computing Foundation’s (CNCF’s) KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2025 conference in London, UK in April 2025. AI and how it fits into/with the CNCF’s ecosystem of cloud-native technologies was (once again) an important topic. Speakers at KubeCon 2025 noted that unlike at last year’s event, it is no longer a question of whether AI can run on Kubernetes (K8s) – this has been proven. Efforts now centre around making running AI on K8s more practical, efficient and performant; and ensuring that workloads can run at scale with effective governance and observability. This article summarises some of the main talking points from the event.
