IoT RedCap and LPWA networks index 2025

Analysys Mason’s IoT RedCap and LPWA networks index tracks low-power, wide area (LPWA) networks worldwide, and provides information about the technologies used, stage of evolution and coverage. It also details RedCap trials and deployments. It is updated annually.

Data coverage

This tracker provides information about roll-out plans, stages of evolution and coverage for networks that use technologies in:

• unlicensed spectrum (LoRaWAN, RPMA (by Ingenu), Sigfox, Telensa UNB and Weightless)
• licensed spectrum (LTE-M, NB-IoT). 

It also provides details of the roll-out plans for 5G RedCap networks, including the operator, stage of evolution and coverage details, where this is disclosed.

Worldwide data in this tracker can be filtered according to eight geographical regions, as well as by country.
