Jay Lee

Jay is based in our Singapore office and has been with the company since 2013. He has worked with a wide range of industry players across the Asia-Pacific region, including telecoms operators, regulators and financial investors. His experience spans topics such as: commercial due diligence, capex optimisation, spectrum valuation, business planning and regulation.

His recent project experience includes:

• Managing an assessment of data centre investment opportunities in Southeast Asia for a private equity investor
• Managing a study to evaluate the opportunity for a utility company to monetise its assets for use by telecoms operators, particularly in light of upcoming 5G deployment
• Managing a study on the expected evolution of mobile network technology and implications towards tower loading for a leading tower company
• Conducting a review of a quad-play operator's pay-TV business given the rise of over-the-top (OTT) video and its impact on the market
• Developing a capex optimisation framework for a leading mobile network operator (MNO) involving the use of big data to enhance its network investment decision-making.

Jay holds a bachelor's degree in Government and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where he graduated with first-class honours and was awarded the Convenor's Prize for best overall performance in his course.
