AB Stelacon was founded in the 1980s and has always focused on telecoms, media and digitalisation. We have been part of Analysys Mason since 2019 (with a presence in both Lund and Stockholm) and, together with the team in our Oslo office, we are one of the leading TMT consulting firms in Scandinavia.

Location

The Lund office is located next to Lund Central station. There are various restaurants and meeting places in the nearby area, and some greenery to enjoy if you fancy a lunch stroll. The Lund office is located on the first floor of the old refinery building, and has its own glass-veranda facing a beautiful courtyard!

Typical projects

Our teams in Sweden work on projects in four of Analysys Mason's five practices: transaction support, regulation and policy, strategy and transformation. Since 1998, we have specialised in making sense of the industry’s challenges and opportunities, and have helped our clients around the world to make critical business decisions.

A few years ago we co-ordinated a network of testbeds (physical or virtual environments where new digital knowledge and technology can be developed) to support digital transformation in the Nordic and Baltic bioeconomy. The core of the network was composed of testbeds that were active in the intersection between digitalisation and bioeconomy (encompassing forestry, agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture). I particularly enjoyed taking part in our webinars and moderating conversations between people from the academic, business and public spheres. These cross-sector interactions played a key role in generating new insights and catalysing knowledge transfer.

One of the most interesting projects that I have been part of since joining Analysys Mason was providing a mobile operator in the Caucasus region with regulatory support and expertise following the implementation of a new regulation. We provided active support in discussions with the regulator and prepared reports on the implications for cyber security and network investments in order to bring the potential risks associated with the proposed regulation to life. This project was especially memorable for me because it highlighted the positive impact that we can have when we share the lessons that we have learnt in more-mature markets to help players in developing markets to reach their goals more quickly.

The team

Meet the office head

Hi, and welcome to the Lund office. I head the office and I am an affiliated researcher at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science. I hold a PhD in business development with a focus on organisational change management, and my main interests lie in the intersection between digitalisation and sustainability. At Analysys Mason, I work with questions such as: how does the digital transformation affect gender structures? How can smart and energy-efficient lighting become an integrated part of public buildings and environments? How can connected cows and pigs contribute to a sustainable food production?

I believe that Analysys Mason has a unique position in the Nordics thanks to its local commitment and international scale. We have a holistic perspective on telecoms, media and digitalisation; this enables us to serve a broad range of clients in many sectors, which in turn creates a dynamic environment to work in. Our employees come from a wide variety of backgrounds and we have an inclusive culture where everyone feels useful, appreciated and seen.

Meet the team

I am a Principal in the Lund office and have been active in the global media and telecoms market since 2006. I have previously worked for network equipment vendors, network operators and media broadcasters. I have a background in usability and AI and I hold an MSc in applied IT from the University of Gothenburg. At Analysys Mason, I manage projects related to transaction support, regulation and strategy and have advised a range of clients including international aid providers, investors, network operators and national regulators. My areas of expertise include fixed networks, online media and digital policy development.

We strive to build an open and collaborative culture and make sure that new joiners get the broadest possible exposure to tasks and projects, while also considering special interests or skills. Our office is designed as an open landscape with plenty of space for socialising and interaction with colleagues. We also organise social events in and out of the office. Within projects, we always make sure that team members get to try out and acquire new skills and that they are given the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities.

We sometimes work with demanding clients, but work–life balance is important to us and we will give you the flexibility that fits with your situation in life.
