AB Stelacon was founded in the 1980s and has always focused on telecoms, media and digitalisation. We have been part of Analysys Mason since 2019, and together with our Oslo office, we are one of the leading TMT consulting firms in Scandinavia. We work particularly closely with our office in Lund.

Location

The Stockholm office is conveniently located at Kungsholmen, close to public transport and the services of Västermalmsgallerian. The office is on the top floor of a modern building. We have room for social activities as well as a dedicated work space and hot desks.

Typical projects

Our projects fit into four out of five of Analysys Mason's practice areas: transaction support, regulation and policy, strategy, and transformation. Since 1998, we have specialised in making sense of the industry’s challenges and opportunities, helping our clients around the world to make critical business decisions.

One of the most interesting projects that I have been part of since joining Analysys Mason was providing a mobile operator in the Caucasus region with regulatory support and expertise following the implementation of a new regulation. We provided active support in discussions with the regulator and prepared reports on the implications for cyber security and network investments in order to bring the potential risks associated with the proposed regulation to life. This project was especially memorable for me because it highlighted the positive impact that we can have when we share the lessons that we have learnt in more-mature markets to help players in developing markets to reach their goals more quickly.

A few years ago we co-ordinated a network of testbeds (physical or virtual environments where new digital knowledge and technology can be developed) to support digital transformation in the Nordic and Baltic bioeconomy. The core of the network was composed of testbeds that were active at the intersection between digitalisation and bioeconomy (encompassing forestry, agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture). I particularly enjoyed taking part in our webinars and moderating conversations between people from the academic, business and public spheres. These cross-sectoral interactions played a key role in generating new insights and catalysing knowledge transfer.

Meet the office head

Hi, and welcome to the Stockholm office! I am the Managing Partner of Analysys Mason Sweden. I hold an MSc in business administration and prior to joining Analysys Mason, I worked in management roles within global organisations such as General Electric and Deloitte. I was a partner at AB Stelacon and have since worked to successfully integrate the Swedish business with Analysys Mason’s worldwide organisation. We believe that Analysys Mason has a unique position in the Nordics thanks to its local commitment and international scale. We have a holistic perspective on telecoms, media and digitalisation; this enables us to serve a broad range of clients in many sectors, which in turn creates a dynamic environment to work in. Our employees come from a wide variety of backgrounds and we have an inclusive culture where everyone feels useful, appreciated and seen.

Jenny Robertsson, Managing Partner

Meet the team

I am a Principal in the Stockholm office having spent 2 years in the London office and 5 years in the Singapore office. I hold a degree in engineering physics and an MBA from IESE Business School. Prior to joining Analysys Mason, I worked at a fixed and mobile network operator in Canada. I balance my time between strategy, regulation and transaction support engagements. Notable project topic areas include spectrum auction design and valuation, passive and active network-sharing strategies, and buy- and sell-side support for telecoms infrastructure transactions.

Nick Edwards Principal

I am a Partner in the Stockholm office with many years of experience of working with regulators, vendors and mobile operators in multiple countries. I hold an MSc in engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stockholm School of Economics. I have significant experience of bid processes, telecoms strategies, and operational development and implementation projects.
