Alexander (Alex) is a Senior Analyst within Analysys Mason’s Space research team. Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Alex worked for 5 years in the aerospace and defence industry as an analyst at Frost & Sullivan, before moving to the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) to lead its market intelligence function for 3.5 years. While at SSC, Alex worked within its Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) and Orbital Launch and Rocket Testing (OLRT) business units. Notably, Alex’s work contributed to the launch of SSC’s OLRT division and a new product line within the GSaaS offering. This experience has helped Alex to develop expertise in niche areas within the space ecosystem while also acquiring broad knowledge of the wider industry.
Alex graduated from the University of Nottingham with a bachelor's degree in Archaeology, which provided him with foundational skills including qualitative and quantitative research, analysis and fact-based storytelling. In his personal time, when he isn't playing competitive field hockey or cricket, he enjoys trying new recipes and discovering hidden gems within London’s culinary scene.
