Understanding the relationship between digital infrastructure, energy systems and sustainability is critical to managing investment risk and building resilient infrastructure.

Grace Langham is a Senior Analyst in Analysys Mason's Research team. She leads the Sustainable Networks research programme and contributes to the Data Centre, Fibre Infrastructure and Wireless Infrastructure programmes.

She specialises in digital infrastructure, energy and sustainability. Her research examines how the expansion of data centres and communications networks is reshaping energy demand, emissions and resource use, with a particular focus on the growing relationship between digital infrastructure and energy systems. She helps organisations assess how power availability, energy procurement, resilience and sustainability objectives influence infrastructure deployment, operational strategy and long-term investment decisions.

Alongside her work in energy and sustainability, Grace analyses the broader digital infrastructure market, examining market dynamics, competitive positioning, industry participants and regulatory compliance.

Grace’s expertise is grounded in data analysis. She combines quantitative and qualitative analysis to provide evidence-based insights for operators, investors, vendors and policy makers.

Grace holds an MChem degree in Chemistry from the University of York and previously worked in pharmaceutical drug discovery. Outside of work, she is a keen runner and can often be found training for her next race.
