Attracting gamers to broadband offers can bring significant benefits for developed-market operators
Online gaming continues to grow in popularity around the world. Fixed broadband operators therefore need to understand gamers’ preferences when developing their strategies in terms of connectivity offerings and whether to launch partnerships with gaming subscription services. In this article, we use the results of our 2021 consumer survey to analyse the fixed broadband preferences of gamers in the ‘big five’ Western European markets as well as South Korea and the USA.
