AT&T’s quantum-safe networking journey began in 2017 when its Foundry Innovation Centre in Palo Alto joined Caltech to form the Alliance for Quantum Technologies. AT&T’s quantum key distribution (QKD) strategy is anchored in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and is in long-term alignment with NIST standards.
