Strategy report | PPTX and PDF (13 slides) | Private Networks| Wireless Technologies
Most private LTE/5G network deployments to date have been fully dedicated networks, but these can be prohibitively expensive for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Hybrid networks can offer a cheaper solution, and can support roaming, but can come with trade-offs such as reduced security and higher latency, which service providers must understand to ensure they can match the customer with the right deployment model.
Information provided in this report
- A summary of the most common private LTE/5G network deployment models.
- Analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each deployment model, and which customer each model is most and least suited to.
