Strategy report | PPTX and PDF (7 slides) | Private Networks

"Hybrid networks provide a cheaper alternative to dedicated private networks, but each deployment model has downsides which suppliers must factor in."

Publicly shared RAN, core network sharing and neutral host private networks can all reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the network. However, each solution has tradeoffs which the private network supplier must consider to ensure the right deployment model is provided to match the customer’s individual needs.

Information provided in this report

  • An analysis of how hybrid networks can provide cost savings for private network users
  • An outline of how these hybrid models work including their pros and cons
  • Recommendations for operators and other private network suppliers that are considering hybrid network models
