Paul Jevons, Director, Analysys Mason, and Harald Wium Lie, Partner, Analysys Mason, will be attending Telecom World 2022, being held in Frankfurt, 25-27 October.

On Day One of the event, Paul will present ‘The German telecoms market - status, opportunities and challenges’.

Also on Day One, Harald will lead the opening session ’What can we learn from Germany?‘, and on Day Two, will be a member of the panel debate ‘Fixed wireless - a dead end towards gigabit?’.

About the event

Telecom World continues and develops the debate we started in Lillehammer about the way forward for Norwegian fiber operators. What choices do the medium-sized ones have and what are the biggest ones actually doing now?

A central question is FMC – fixed mobile convergence. What happens when 5G comes as an extension of fibre? Here, from many different quarters at home and abroad, we will shed light on new services with the main emphasis on private local networks, which we will see the first of next year.

Finally, we will have a sure-fire debate about fixed wireless broadband (FTB-FWA). What happens when 30 Mbps FTB in Trøndelag stands in the way of full-fledged fibre?
