Stela heads up Analysys Mason’s custom research team and contributes to a range of published research within the Telecoms Software research team.
Stela is a strategy and research professional with more than 15 years of experience in public and private sector consulting, focusing on developing and executing strategies in the TMT sector. Stela’s recent projects and research publications include: an analysis of the impact of telco cloud transformation and hybrid network management on CSPs’ operations; a study on CSPs’ digital service enablement platforms and digital operating models; an analysis on the importance of digitalisation for CSPs’ B2B customer engagement, and an analysis on the impact of NFV/SDN on managed services, among others.
As a TMT consultant, Stela has worked with a wide range of clients, including operators, regulators, industry bodies and vendors. She has helped vendor clients such as Amdocs, Huawei, Intel, Microsoft, Mozilla and Nokia with enhancing their value proposition to service providers. Stela has also advised large integrated operators, such as EE, KDDI, Telecom Austria, Telefónica and UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones, on mobile payments, churn reduction and customer acquisition/retention efforts, as well as their positioning in new business areas.
Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Stela was a Senior Analyst and a Senior Consultant with Pyramid Research for 7 years, where she authored a large number of research reports on innovative services and business models in the mobile market segment. Stela also held roles in two USAID economic development programmes in Serbia, the Serbian Government, Raiffeisen Bank and Harvard University.
Stela holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, USA, where her areas of focus were finance, trade policy and macroeconomics, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Charleston, USA.
