A recent example of this activity in the market includes Microsoft’s recent release of Microsoft Planetary Pro, a geospatial data management, processing and visualisation solution designed to ease workflows within the Microsoft Azure environment for end customers and service providers. This move highlights the steps taken by cloud service providers to enable the Earth observation/geospatial market. To stay competitive, cloud service providers must optimise strategies to ease processes and leverage strategic relationships.
