Prachi is a Senior Analyst and programme head for Analysys Mason’s research programme, Earth Observation. She specialises in forecasting and analysing new markets and applications in the space sector, using her extensive experience in Earth observation, space-enabled cloud computing and AI, the emerging lunar economy and optical satellite communications.
Prachi is an expert in identifying the trends, challenges and market gaps that can help commercial and government clients navigate the rapidly evolving space and satellite industry. Her insights guide organisations on go-to-market strategies, partnership models and use-case prioritisation, helping them mitigate risks and maximising revenue.
Her experience spans due diligences, competitor analysis, and market opportunity identification and sizing. She enjoys supporting a diverse set of clients, from space agencies and investors to satellite operators, cloud service providers, satellite/component manufacturers, material manufacturers and downstream analytics providers.
Prachi joined Analysys Mason at the time of its acquisition of NSR. Prior to Analysys Mason, she spent two and a half years at Frost & Sullivan, principally focusing on satellite manufacturing, launch, space tourism and high-speed travel markets. Prachi holds a Master’s degree in space studies from the International Space University (ISU) and a Bachelor’s in Aeronautical Engineering from MVJ College of Engineering.
Prachi is an entrepreneurial, curious and agile person who always likes to develop her knowledge within the industry and beyond it. Outside work, she enjoys reading, cooking and losing herself in podcasts on emerging technology and personal well-being. Once a year, she goes on an ambitious trek, usually in the Himalayas (most recently Kedarkantha).
