EE announced in November 2025 that it had opened registration for its satellite broadband service in the UK. The service will be delivered in partnership with Starlink and is planned for 2H 2026.

EE is positioning the service as a solution for the UK’s hardest-to-reach homes. However, Analysys Mason’s global consumer survey shows that the reasons people choose satellite broadband are more complex than simply a lack of alternatives.
