Operators are developing enterprise AI services across the full AI stack, but some services have better prospects for revenue growth than others. The AI market is fast-moving and competitive, so operators should focus on developing AI solutions that build on their existing service offerings, capabilities and partnerships. This approach will ensure that operators can launch new AI services rapidly.

The services most likely to provide quick wins or lasting differentiation for operators include data management and insights, AI applications that enhance (or are enhanced by) telecoms services and AI infrastructure services that are integrated with existing connectivity, security and cloud services.

We do not attempt to quantify each opportunity in this article; rather we aim to provide some ideas for AI services that operators could offer with the potential to yield significant returns.
