Gemalto used its strong relationships with mobile network operators (MNOs) as a physical SIM manufacturer to provide MNOs and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with eSIMs, embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) subscription management services and remote SIM provisioning (RSP) services. It is less strong in the IoT iSIM market where it has prioritised consumer iSIMs.
