Mercedes-Benz Group (formerly Daimler) is moving a large part of its IT infrastructure to the interconnect edge as part of its hybrid cloud strategy. The automotive manufacturer is closing its main 4000 square metre corporate data centre at its headquarters in Stuttgart and is migrating to two colocation sites in Frankfurt.
