A Tier-1 communications service provider (CSP) in the UAE identified an opportunity to become an aggregator of content in local languages, particularly targeting Southeast Asian customers and the local Arab population. This required the CSP to expand its digital content portfolio and partner ecosystem while ensuring that all content and services complied with local rules and regulations. The CSP also implemented new capabilities to quickly on-board content partners, manage settlements and offer new charging models and mechanisms for churn protection.
This case study provides:
- an introduction to the CSP’s digital content aggregation strategy
- an overview of the business drivers behind the transformation of the CSP’s digital content platform and operations
- implementation details
- an analysis of the achieved business benefits.
