"NB-IoT is the most deployed LPWA network technology with 147 NB-IoT networks worldwide, and NB-IoT and LTE-M together account for almost half of all LPWA networks."
448 public LPWA networks were planned or deployed in 87 countries at the start of 2023, according to Analysys Mason’s LPWA networks index. No single technology has emerged as a de-facto LPWA standard, and various unlicensed LPWA technologies continue to be deployed in the market.
