"5G is now widely available in most middle- and high-income countries and operators must find effective new ways to differentiate their services and improve monetisation."

This report uses consumer survey data to analyse trends related to 5G mobile services among smartphone users in a range of high- and middle-income countries. It explores consumers’ satisfaction with 5G, intention to churn and take-up by age and country.

Topics analysed in this report

  • 5G adoption by country and age group
  • Spend on mobile services
  • Handset manufacturers' market shares
  • Net Promoter Scores and intention to churn
  • Interest in and willingness to pay for new, 5G-enabled services
