More about the European Telecoms Summit

Building blocks for successful operator strategies

Telecoms operators face increasing competition from new entrants and shifting industry dynamics.

Analysys Mason's free one-day summit, taking place on Thursday 6 October in London, will focus on the key drivers and trends influencing the telecoms, media and technology (TMT) industry in Europe.

Mark H. Mortensen and Dana Cooperson (Research Directors) will give a presentation on the digital transformation: network innovation and operations digitisation. This will provide essential and fundamental details of how to capitalise on new network and management technologies.

Continuing this focus on the transformation to a digital age, there will be a discussion on capturing value from IoT by Tom Rebbeck (Head of Digital Economy) and Enrique Velasco-Castillo (Senior Analyst), which will discuss the new opportunities and challenges presented by this area.

Stephen Sale (Research Director) will also discuss the changing role of telcos in the mobile value chain, with a particular focus on Google as a connectivity provider, disruptive MVNO and potential partner in communication services.

This event will feature our leading analysts and subject-matter experts, who will offer their exclusive insights and advice. In addition, the afternoon will be devoted to break-out sessions, which will give attendees the opportunity to discuss areas of particular interest in more detail.
