Hong Kong Telecoms Summit 2016

BUILDING BLOCKS FOR SUCCESSFUL OPERATOR STRATEGIES

Telecoms operators face increasing competition from new entrants and shifting industry dynamics.

Analysys Mason's free half-day summit in Hong Kong on Thursday 7 July will focus on the key drivers and trends influencing the telecoms, media and technology (TMT) industry in the Asia–Pacific region.

A key session by Sherrie Huang will be on capturing value from IoT. This will include the best way to capitalise on the new opportunities in this area.

The presentations will also include a discussion of the retail perspective on fixed/mobile convergence from Stephen Wilson (Principal Analyst) and information on network evolution and its impact on telecoms operators from Amrish Kacker (Partner). The latter will discuss the opportunities and challenges of new network technologies.

Continuing our focus on the digital ecosystem, there will be a discussion of mergers and acquisitions in the ICT space from Taylor Lam (Principal), including the differences between ICT transactions and more traditional telecoms ones.

The event will feature our leading analysts and subject-matter experts who will be ready to offer insights on addressing major shifts in the market and can advise on new business strategies to address disruptive technologies.
