Alex Smith

Alex Smith is a Managing Partner, and leads our Operations division. He has over 30 years’ experience working in telecoms and IT consulting, and was one of the founders of the original Mason Communications business. Alex has worked extensively in the end-user consulting arena, working with clients in the public and private sector. He has led national procurement projects, project managed national roll-out schemes, developed business cases and undertaken project reviews on fixed and mobile network projects. Alex’s work for telecoms operators has been focused on supporting international projects in Pakistan, India, Dubai and Egypt. In an executive role for the group, Alex has successfully completed a number of acquisitions and develops the strategy for the Operations division.
