Stéphane Piot

Stéphane is a Partner at our Paris office and has been working in the telecoms and media sector for more than 20 years. Stéphane has led and managed projects across a broad range of areas, including strategic assessments and business planning, regulatory projects, due diligence assignments and pricing.

Examples of Stéphane's work in these areas include:

• more than 50 due diligence projects in the past five years on a very wide range of topics like fiber carve out, fiber operator financing in dense and rural areas, tower operators, submarine cable and datacenter assessments
• a very broad experience of NGA related topics (business planning, national broadband plan, assessment of technical deployment and underlying economics, review of regulatory framework...)
• fixed and mobile cost models and margin squeeze assessment, management of the regulatory department of a telecoms operator
• 4G and 5G spectrum valuation projects (for regulators and operators)

Stéphane holds an Engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne (France), an M.Sc. in Telecommunications from University College, London (UK), and a French Mastère Degree in Management of New Technologies from the Economic and Business School, HEC.
